A journey through Edinburgh, before you fly 

The Edinburgh lounge is designed as a journey through the city itself, unfolding across three distinct zones: The Old Town, The New Town and Leith. Each one draws from Edinburgh’s iconic districts to create a layered, place-led experience. 

In The Old Town, dark gothic tones, textured flooring and dramatic lighting echo the city's winding closes and historic skyline. This section sets a rich, atmospheric tone - anchored by the bold ‘e’ motif at the entrance. 

The New Town brings openness and elegance, with curved wall panels, refined planting, and artwork by local artists (currently being installed). Its design draws on Georgian architecture and the city’s timeless sense of order and style. 

The lounge opens up into Leith, where light wood tones and playful details reflect Edinburgh’s coastal character. Look out for the mural inspired by Leith’s culture and a subtle tribute to Sir Nils Olav, the penguin knighted at Edinburgh Zoo.
